I *really* hate it when people don't do their job, and it negatively affects me. Public Storage dropped the ball, their employees didn't do the necessary paperwork when I cleared out of my unit. I got a bill last month, called and complained, was told "Oops, we screwed up. Don't worry about it, we'll fix it." Yesterday, I get a bill from a collections agent. Public Storage sent the bill to collections. Fucking asswads.
So, I got to go in this morning and complain in person. Same guy, is very sorry, he'll start the process to get this taken care of. YEah, well, I want a number to your manager, to allow me to follow up on this. I hate to be rude, but I don't really trust you.

Oh, and the brakes on my car let me know this morning they desperately needed attention. Rear pads were almost metal-to-metal. Front pads were below 40%. OK, lets get to a known-good starting point. New pads, front and rear, new calipers, turned rotors. Continue on my way to work, and the damn brakes are mushy. They weren't properly bled. So, I got to pull out of work *again*, to go get them re-bled.

Gripe, gripe, gripe :).

Tomorrow I'm going to a WetLeather party, which will be a most welcome infusion of love and laughter :). Not to mention an opportunity to show off my son :).
