Note to self: eggnog flavored yoghurt= No. Dunno what they used to flavor it, but it leaves a weird aftertaste. Ditto Pumpkin Pie flavored yoghurt.

Working from home, gotta get the bug to the doc later today.

Had a wodnerful time at Deva Central last night, I don't see that crowd nearly enough. Sadly, the bug had had a really big day, and was just too tired to be social. So I had to leave long before I was ready. I felt really bad that, AFAIK, I stepped out for a smoke, and he started crying very soon after, and wouldn't stop until I got back. I really hope he didn't disturb everyone else, I honestly thought he'd be OK for the time I expecting to be gone.

I'm so glad it's raining. I've missed it, these past months. Winter is meant to be wet and green.

Got my bike back on Saturday. SHe's parked out back now, awaiting valid tabs (whoops). The front tire was a little squirrely, wasn't sure if that was just old-cold rubber, or if it's losing air faster than I thought. Before I can ride her any distance, she needs new tabs, new tires, and replace the left rear turn signal. I figure I'm going to have to throw money at a shop to get all this done. I could stand to avoid that bill, on top of all the others. I think my babe is going to be parked for quite some time :(.

I have two spelling blind spots. Always have. i-before-e-except-after-c-(and-in-words-like-weird), and double letters. Recommend, for example, I invariably end up typing at least twice, trying to see if the 'c' is a double letter, or is it just teh 'm'. Other than that, I'm a good speller. But those two situations, I always get wrong. (it took 15 years to get my oldest friend's surname correct. "Oh, shit, is the 'z' doubled? the 'r'? the 't' is doubled, isn't it?").

The rain was so perfect this morning, it took all my strength to get my ass out of bed instead of just lying there and listening to it all day.

Naaah, he really only just started a couple of minutes before you buzzed to come back up. Your timing was perfect.

I really hope he didn't disturb everyone else [...]

Don't worry about it. No one seemed bothered, except on his behalf. Poor little bug.

OK, I feel better :). I was concerned that he wouldn't be well behaved enough to be welcome back at another time :).

I'm really *not* one of those mothers who'll bring the squidlet along everywhere, and ignore his crying, but Y'all don't know that yet :).

I was impressed...he is just about the quietest crier I've ever heard. It was amazingly tolerable. :)

That was unusually quiet for him :).

You'll get even stranger looks than I *ever* did if you don't get it right . . . ;)
