Wow. Actually quite a good article.

And the bit at the end about ER docs need to know how to remove it- fortunately the one I got stuck figuringing out was a belly buttone ring. Patient was awake and didn't know how it came out either. Finally decided we would have to use ring cutters. Snerk. WRONG. After several frustrating moments trying to saw through titanium, the cutters slipped. Patient was fine, but it popped out the bead that held it in.

And 30 seconds later the transport crew came in to take her to laproscopic surgery.
