Went to see X2 on Saturday. Oooh. Whoever it was that said their Wolverine fantasies are now going to be superceded by Colossus fantasies is CRAZY. Yeah, he's cute and built. But so what, there's dozens of cute and built out there. I really like Jackman's portrayal of Wolverine. And watching him protect his pack (which is the only explanation for his actions during the attack) is an extra thrill.

But then, I've always had a thing for "Dark and troubled". I was disturbed when I realized that, at 16, Jason Dean was my Perfect Guy. Yes, Christian Slater's character in Heathers (yes, the sociopath).


First Mother's Day. Kind of bizarre :). But nice.

Thursday: Matrix Reloaded. And I don't have to come up with a 'sick' excuse. My boss recognizes that seeing this movie is essential to continued existence, and has convined the CEO to take the company to see it.

I think a lot of companies are realizing that if they offer to take the company, they can control when the employees see it, to an extent, which means they can *plan* on it, instead of suddenly getting hit with Naboo Flu calls from folks skipping out.

I like Wolverine more than most of the comic characters out there, so don't get me wrong... But IF they develop Piotr Nikolaievitch Rasputin as a character in the movies along the lines of his comic, then I think that Logan will have a hard time staying on top.

But Nightcrawler whups all of them for all-out cool, IMHO.
