I adored this episode. And I have to admit, with the hair and the threads, they made Howard look do-able.

Dinnae if you read Sirriamnis' journal. She posted http://www.harkavagrant.com/history/brontessm.png which is hilarious! By the way, have you read Pride & Prejudice & Zombies yet? If yes, did you enjoy it?

Had not seen that! OMG thank you! I'm totally printing that out and hanging it on my wall.

Yes, I read P&P&Z. Was not impressed.
Quoted from what I wrote at the time:
Not really boring, but I don't like it. See, the author has made what he felt were the only changes possible to make _Pride and Prejudice_ something you'd want to read.
Well, I LOVE P&P, and regularly choose to reread it. So, we differ on that point. But the insertion of the zombie stuff is done clumsily, and the dialog doesn't maintain the same ... edge. I'm sure the author thinks it's equally pretentious, but in my eyes it varies from Austen's wry, dry humor to the zombified clumsy language. Bugs me :).

Oh dear. This doesn't bode well, since we usually have pretty similar taste re: classics. Which really is why I had to bring the Bronte Sisters Dude Watching strip to your attention! :D

I need to read Jane Eyre, but after Wuthering Heights I'm leery.

I enjoyed Jane Eyre much more than I liked Wuthering Heights. Of course, it didn't take more than 'I wasn't *continually* compelled to throw it across the room' to achieve that ;).
Anyway, I think you'd find something to like about Jane Eyre. And Mr. Rochester is nowhere near as infuriating as Heathcliff.

I'll check it out. And I'll see whether or not the library has an audio-book version which is how I avoided throwing Wuthering Heights across the room. I did, frequently, think about backing up into oncoming traffic though (the multi-disk player is located in the trunk).
