When doing laundry, not only is it important that one check pockets for stuff that shouldn't be washed, but one needs to sort small_child_bedding as well. Lest one discover that a diaper was accidentally washed in the machine.

There's a distressing amount of gel-innards in a standard diaper.

I am currently plotting appropriate measures for when the guilty party gets home.

Oh dear. Gel innards, huh?

Yep. Disposable diapers are filled with a stuff that, when dry, is a powder (that's how the unused ones can be so thin). When the stuff gets wet, it turns into a gel. This causes expansion, and if the stuff gets too wet (read: too big), the casing will split. Then the gel stuff gets everywhere.
