If I seem a little disoriented for the next couple of weeks

It's because I can't for the life of me figure out what flipping day it is. Or which weekend is which.
I think it's the school district's fault. They're starting school the week before Labor Day. This is the first year *ever* I've known school to start before the end-of-summer long weekend. It's wreaking havoc with my internal calendar. I keep finding myself planning stuff for this coming Monday, determinedly convinced I have that day off *eyeroll*.

Good side : LSB and I have a long weekend sans kids to finally celebrate a late anniversary.

Bad side : he didn't think sharing the cabin which three of his relatives would matter. *HEADDESK* I've updated him on this point. We'll be going elsewhere.

It's retarded! We've got an hour meet and greet kindergarten Thursday, and the full day Friday fucks with our leaving early for Sept Crown after me getting the half day off. I'm off at 1300, Michael gets out of school at 1520.
