It's finally clicked for me, that part of my issue with the make of my car (Saturn, for those who care), is actually the fault of the previous owner. He fancied himself a mechanic, and the damage he did is still being discovered.

But, I should be getting a new battery (and positive cable head) today,. Which will be nice. Having confidence that turning the key will be met with 'Vrrooom' is a Good Thing (tm).
