PSA for anyone planning to cross the Cascades: DOT is warning of possible snow/ice in the passes. Just in case that whole 'late October' thing wasn't enough warning for you :)>

Unfortunately, this is going to be a grieve and run. :/

We fly in Friday evening, we drive to Wenatchee Sat morning, drive back Sunday night, Monday night we're having dinner with my brother and sis-in-law, Tue night is my Dad's birthday, we fly out early Wed morning, and I have conf calls both Mon and Tue during the day, and prep to do for two major presentations on Thu and Fri after I get back.

Yes, because cold rain coming at you sideways is *so* much better riding condition than snow ;).
