You know, most of my bitchiest responses to this involve deliberately misunderstanding the badly-written questions. Most of these are pretty simple, actually.
01] Do you have the guts to answer these questions and re-post as The Controversial Survey?

A coat hanger is just a coat hanger to me. I *like* it that way. For, all the way.

almostarachne pointed out, Maggie Thatcher could hardly have been called 'ineffective'. While I may not approve of all her positions, and the net result of a lot of her policies caused problems for my family (and many many others living in the North), she was still a damn good pol.

OK, I can't resist anymore. I believe in the existence of the death penalty, yes. Much as I believe in the existence of the kitchen table. I support the existence of it, too.
[06] Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
Oh, it is SO time. I'd prefer that the police, the courts, and the penal system be allowed to focus on people who *actually* present a danger to others. Besides, the tax possibilities are astronomical.
[07] Are you for or against premarital sex?
Since I could only have PREmarital sex through a tragic series of circumstances, I'm now against it.
Naw, I be playin'. I have no problem with premarital sex.
[08] Do you believe in God?
Yes.
[09] Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
Again, it is SO time.
[10] Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
Only that they are being forced to do so illegally. If they wish to come here, why the hell not *let* them?
[11] A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
Ouch. This one is tougher, only because I would have preferred that she not have the baby at all (the health effects on the child of an immature maternal body are significant). But, in my Perfect World (tm), the mother would be able to keep her baby, while recieving enough 'support' to allow her to FINISH SCHOOL. Whether that's Grandma carign for the baby during the school day, or the state subsidizing child care so it's possible, I haven't worked out yet.
Wait, it's my Perfect World. OK, then the state would provide state-run, licensed child care centers, where any tuition would be on a sliding scale, waived if the primary parent is in school.
[12] Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
Yes, it should be returned to that more realistic level.
[13] Should the war in Iraq be called off?
Eh, this is poorly worded. I think we should pull out, but I'm not clear on how we'd accomplish that without another Mogadishu.
[14] Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
I agree that the law currently states it is illegal to assist someone to take their own life.
Oh, wait, you were asking if I *approved*? Then no, I don't think it should be illegal.

Yep. I've spanked Bug, and will do so again.
[16] Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
Why would I need to be paid? It's a symbol. Frankly, they can burn the flag you hang on the flagpole, but they can't burn the one you carry in your heart.
[17] Who do you think would make a better president? McCain or Obama?
Define 'better'. I have a sinking suspicion that Obama would be another JFK. In every respect...
OTOH, McCain would be a slightly-better-spoken Bush II, and that's a scary thought.

The ones who matter to me made their judgements about me long ago.
