One of my favorite scenes from "We Were Soldiers" was the handling of the situation faced by the wives of the soldiers. This was most effectively portrayed with a montage of the officer's wives faces, at the moment they are being informed of their husband's death. This scene stuck with me for months, and now it's back.
Wonder why?
