I'm having a *headdesk* kind of morning :).

Heard last night that a buddy of mine made E7. WAAHOOO!!! mntjay has been informed (not that he needed much encouragement) that there will be heavy drinking to celebrate this. Actually, I fully support that, and only wish I could join in (but someone has to watch the boy and drive home). So, on the 29th he will be north of us a bit, ensuring a massive hangover come Saturday morning.

And it struck me this morning, that the 29th is the day I have theater tickets.

I will need to find childcare, and inform mntjay that he'll need to either find another ride home, or crash there :). Cause there ain't no way I'm missing theater with B :).

I may be available for backup modulo :

1) new kinks may mean court after all, but it's unlikely. (And no way would I need you if so.) Obviously in that case I'm AWOL.

2) I invited a good friend I rarely see to visit that evening, but he may need to go see an ailing parent instead. If he DOES come up from Eugene for the overnight, it might be gauche to be babysitting. However, I could probably still be emergency backup if no one else is available.
