Neuromancer
Mists of Avalon
Farenheit 451
The Colour of Magic
Dragonflight
Harry Potter and The Sorcerors Stone

Date: 2003-03-07 05:16 pm (UTC)The best book I've read lately is "Dead Until Dark" which is actually a murder mystery where the protagonist is a woman who overhears other peoples thoughts / feelings and key characters are vampires. The premise is that vampires have recently been recognized and given rights in society, with a scientific mumbo jumbo that they are suffering from a disease ... so bars have 'synthetic blood' and whatnot. It is extremely well-developed, humorous, and an all-around good read.
