Bug was sick last week. Feverish, Sinus drainage resembling Niagara falls, cough, the whole nine yards. He was miserable for almost a week.
He's feeling better now.
He shared, with the whole house.
We've all been home sick for two days (I've staggered out to work today, but I'm giving it even odds that I end up going home early again), and Bug is the only one who has any energy at all.

Kill me now.

Why is it that kids sicknesses never seem to coincide with your own? It never failed - every time I was sick when Nick was little, it was always just before or just after he was sick, so I didn't exactly have the energy to take care of him (And I was a single mom at that point, so it was a HUGE problem)

Well, in my house, it's because Bug gets exposed at school, develops the crud, comes home and gives it to us.
Or sometimes the teen is the carrier, but the school element is the same.

Bug should take care of the rest of you! I'm sure he'd love to fix you breakfast... *ducking*

Well, yes, but in my delicate state peanut butter and ketchup sandwiches make me ever-so-faintly queasy...
