My brain is gone. I'm not entirely certain where it went, but i'm assured this is normal. I'm not sure when it will come back, maybe when the baby's in college.
I rememebr, a friend once told me " I remember being smart . . ."
That's how I feel.
I still need to get Jay's Valentine's Day present. He's decided he wants to rebuild his decimated CD collection. He has a list of CDs that he needs replaced. I wish I could remember what some of them were, so I could order them from work (rather than from home, where he's watching what I'm doing).

Mommy brain. Right now it's hormones. I can't explain why it happens after that.

The heartburn sucks. That's actually worse than the barfing :(

Sleep dep for the first few months after as well as the lovely cocktail of hormones your body feeds you when you're breast feeding. Let's give a big HOORAY for oxytocin!!!

Hey, if it weren't for oxytocin, the race would have died out eons ago. If it weren't for the self-drugging we go through during labor, any woman would have killed that *thing* coming out of her, thus ensuring the human race would die out :).
