I have a theory
Jul. 23rd, 2007 12:02 pmI have this theory. Central Washington (at least, the section of I90 between roughly Moses Lake and Steptoe) has a sleep spell cast on it. Both ways this weekend, that ~90 miles of flat-and-straight left me fighting off sleep. Which would have been bad, since I was the one driving.
Eventually, I figured out that I simply *couldn't* look at the road. At least, not where the road disappeared over the horizon. I had to look at the fog lines, and the bumper of the car in front of me, and my gauges, but not actually look *ahead* of the car in front of me, or I'd zone out. Made for a cranky me.
