Looks like we got the house :). Now to investigate moving companies. Anyone got a recommendation for this area? We need someone to come take pre-packed stuff out of this place, down a flight of stairs, load it into their truck, drive it a few miles, and unload it. Between my knees and J's back, we just can't do it ourselves.

I was quite happy having Power Movers load and unload my $40 U-Haul a couple times. $200 gets you two strong guys who move fast and relentlessly for three hours, and I just had to drive. They didn't break or mishandle anything for me, but then I don't have anything especially valuable (which is why I could pare the essentials down to one carload </gloat>).

I've heard several different things from J about what we will be doing :}. He started rounding up help (which is when he called you guys), then he did a 180 and said "Let's just hire pros...". Well, I've researched that, and I don't think he's going to be OK with how much that's going to run. So, we're still holding open the need for people to hump boxes and furniture :}.

Oh, and my mom is taking Bug for the weekend, so you can come supervise, or maybe help me pack boxes :).
