So, there's a new adaptation of _Hairspray_ scheduled to be released this year.
Starring John Travolta as Edna Turnblad and Queen Latifah as Motormouth Mabel.

SO. Totally. Have. to see this :).

I still have to see that one... ;) But There's a couple of her works I still have to see. _Last Holidy_ is, I think, next on the list, cause I can convince J. to see it :).

I have to say, Mr. Travolta certainly seems to be in a 'Don't take myself seriously' groove, with his latest projects :). I like seeing that...

Set It Off has the single hottest lesbian kiss EVAH ANYWHAR. It kicked off my crush on the Queen, and I actually referred to it in 'marital' counseling with my ex more than once. I'm not sure that helped... ;-)

And re. Travolta, yes, I like his recent directions a great deal. He's gone into my "name on a movie is a plus" category as a direct result.
