Was gifted with linen. Lots of it. Enough to line my overgown, and still make a garment for J. He hasn't told me what he wants yet, but he will, eventually.

And it's nowhere near the horrifying color that was originally described to me ;). It's actually a nice dusky plum. Should go well with the dusky rose.

That would be after four passes through the procion dye; medium blue, twice, marine violet, once, some other blue/purple, once. Approx 2# of kosher salt, washing soda, um... enough, and permadye set 1/2 bottle. It shouldn't bleed. (I did some silk and cotton along with and neither of those bled past the last rinse)

It /was/ a horrifying color -- but that's why it was on 'half-price-clearance-super-deal'. I forget how much I paid for it, but it was under $2/yard, possibly under $1. Glad you can use it :>
