Random pondering

I love singing. I do. Oddly, the default songs that come out of my mouth are Christmas carols. Nope, no pop songs, no classical arias (I knew one or two at one time), no patriotic songs (from any country), Christmas carols.

But, in another three weeks (or so, I feel odd doing Christmassy things before Thanksgiving) I'll fit right in :).

Goal for the season: Learn "Good King Wenceslas"...

Oh hell, I sing Christmas carols all year long except at Christmas. Hoping now that I won't be working at a catalogue company during busy season that I'll be able to enjoy Christmas again.

For some odd reason, the default song I find myself singing is, "When I was a little bitty baby, my mama would rock me in the cradle.. in those old Cotton Fields Back Home!"

Which is really weird, since my mama NEVER rocked me and I grew up in Northern California! LOL!!
