*WHINE*

I'm full to brimming with gripe today.

I want everything below my waist removed.
Starting at the bottom:
The right Big Toe joint that I damaged in my 1st motorcycle accident, is being all arthritis-ey at me. We've got a weather front moving in.
The left heel has either A) heel spur acting up, or B) plantar fasciitis acting up. Treatment for one involves rest. Treatement for the other involves stretching and 'walking it off'. The only way to tell *which* one it is involves seeing the podiatrist (which is happening tomorrow morning, BTW).
Right knee- arthritis acting up. See 'weather front'.
Left knee: see right knee.
Lower back: Aching from sleeping 'funny' last night.

and the coup de grace, I'm ovulating, so I get those wonderful STABBITY pains.

Oh, and I've got a sore throat.

Stick a fork in me, man, I'm done.

I had plantar fasciitis like a bitch and three quarters until a few months ago when I threw out my nice dress shoes and bought a $70 pair of SWAT team tac-boots from http://www.tacgear.com/. After wearing those every day for about a month, my plantar fasciitis was gone. So you might consider that.

You know, while I was at the podiatris today, I was told that raising the heels one typically wears eases PF. So, I totally believe your experience, especially if the heel on the boots was higher than the dress shoes.

My situation is complicated by a deteriorating joint in the toes, which can't have too much weight on it. Looks like I get new orthotics soon :).

Oh! Yes, the heel is considerably higher, and the soles are thicker overall. Good luck with the orthotics.
