Sep. 12th, 2006 06:28 pmEvery now and then, I'm reminded of just how good we have it, with Bug's care at Children's. It's September, so a new year at the medical school. Means new Fellows in Nephrology, new med student, new nurses. A whole new crew to break in ;). Dr. Jordan is the thread of continuity, and a rockin' cool doctor (and a very cool person, as well). I realized how good I had it yesterday, when Bug bit me during his check-up. I howled (it HURT), bent him over my forearm, and swatted him firmly. There were four medical professionals in the exam room, and the only response was Dr. Jordan's comment of "Looks like that has been an issue recently? Yeah, that's about right for his age...".
In other news, the general consensus was "Who is this giant, and what have you done with Bug?" :D. He put on 5 pounds, and grew 2 inches, in three months.

More upside...
