Yeah. Well meaning, but clearly not yet cleared for rural living :}.
Headed out to
lawst's house on Saturday to tear into my bike. Just got a call from her. While fumbling around in the garage, looking for the light switch for the second bank of lights in the garage, I managed to turn off their water pump. Feeling pretty silly right about now.
OTOH, I did manage to get partway on the bike. Got to the step where the manual says 'remove the carburetor and rubber boots from the intake parts'. Discovered I couldn't do that step on my own (my wrists don't bend that way. And I'm deathly scared of tearing one of those boots, cause I suspect the part is manufactured from unobtanium. Everything else for that model is...). Bonus points for performing the previous steps in the half-lit gloom, causing everything I needed to fiddle with to be cast in shadow.
