OK, got all my stuff out of the old place. Found a screaming deal on a storage unit, so I'm good there. Now I have to finish cleaning the old place, and do the walk-through. I'm not expecting to get any of my deposit back, because the landlady just doesn't return deposits (don't start with me about legally she has to, I *know* that, *she* knows that, doesn't mean she pays any attention and doesn't mean the average tenant she gets is willing or able to push the issue). But I can't leave the place a wreck. It'd be wrong. So, today I clear out teh trailer, so it can go up to my Sister-in-Law's, and I get to start sorting our stuff, hopefully to identify more stuff that St. Vinnies will get.

A wreck? No. But spotless and shiny? No need. She has your deposit, whose sole purpose is to pay for the cleaners. Do a reasonable job, but don't kill yourself.

is exactly what I intend. Clean the oven, wipe down the counters, mop the tile floors and vacuum the carpet, clean the shower and bathroom mirror. Much of this is already done. I know I'm not the best housekeeper at the best of times, and my idea of clean would make some of my friends cringe in OCD convulsions, but I'm going to get the place to an "I can live in it as is" state.

Garage Sale= effort and time the Gwywnnydd does not have.
See, Fall quarter starts tonight, I'm in class 3 evenings a week. Two of those I'm in class until 9:30 PM. There is no Time to organize a garage sale. and I don't have a place to hold it any way :). So, Freecycle, St. Vinnies, and as a last resort a few alleys in the U-District that are popular with the dumpster divers :).

Yeaaaaah, ok. Between work, class, homework & Bugging, I could see how that'd be near impossible. All of my organizing had to start after 10:30pm most nights, but that left me functioning on 4-5 hours each night. NOT fun. There's also something to be said for the Reduction of Clutter, and just being DONE. Done, done, DONE. *nodding*
