I believe there is a growth spurt happening. He's sleeping a *lot*, and is seeming hungrier than normal.
Yesterday, he sat down and ate a full portion of macaroni-and-cheese. Didn't do his usual 'chew once, spit out, pick up and chew again, then swallow' routine, he inhaled that stuff. I have *never* seen him eat that much in a sitting.

WAHOOO!!!

And now, he's fast asleep (snoring, too, which I'm told is just too cute).

After two years of stressing every calorie that kid isn't getting, I'm willing to live with the Stomach-that-walks-like-a-man that teenage boys are. besides, I'm already getting a taste of it, with Bug's older brother (who stays with us every couple of weekends).

He's going to be bigger than Jason. I'm opening the betting pool at 6'2". Any other takers?

(I've noticed he'll at least try anything orange.)

The docs think 6'5".

The drag factor of my own height will keep him from matching Daddy. First time since I was 13 I'd been told I was 'too short'.

!?! I presume you mean the drag of your father and brother's height?

Grandmother Jo was 5'2" in heels and produced boys at 6'6" and 6'4"; Grandma Summers never broke 5' and her son matched his daddy's height.

And you gotta remember:

This is going to mean there will be *two* men in your life you can hold and tuck your head under their chin like you were a little girl again.

Well, if we're looking at the males on the maternal side, then 5'11" and 6'3". Which would still put him (ever so slightly) shorter than Daddy :).
