Several days ago, a friend of mine was in a motorcycle accident (idjit changed lanes into her). She was badly hurt. I've just recieved word that she's in surgery now.
I'm asking folks (those of you that aren't already, that is) to focus some Good Healing thoughts towards Harborview right now. She could use them.

her surgery went well, and she's responding well to the continuous-motion machine. She'll probably be released to a rehabilitation facility soon (possibly this week). She's still looking at several months of rehab before she can go home, though.
