There's a new show on A&E, called 'Inked'. I had high hopes for it. I was expecting something along the lines of a history of tattooing in human culture, or maybe a study of the motivations in current American culture for going under the needle. Y'Know, like the trailers implied?

But no. It's a fscking reality-TV show, that happens in a tattoo parlor in Vegas. Blech.

And based on the footage we saw last night, Quinn just needs to have her perky little ass fired. You don't mess around with a small shop's money. You *especially* don't endanger the day's take, and then blame it on a 'dumb blonde' moment.

Well bugger all that for a lark!

I give you new hope-- I'm looking for a chance to get my hands on "The Vanishing Tattoo"-- www.vanishingtattoo.com-- a couple of modern urban primitives doing a mock-Indian-Jones search around the globe for cultures in which tattoo = tradition.

Yup, ticked me right the heck off too. If I'd wanted more drama, I'd stick with Law & Order... I wanted body art & got whiney wenches. The show after wasn't too bad though, Chris Angel I think his name is? Stunt/magician/escape artist sort of thing... with a bit of goth thrown in for looks.

I didn't watch that one, I was feeling irritated enough that the announcing seemed unneccesarily dramatic. So I went to bed :).
