How big is my Bug?
SO big!

We had the quarterly checkup yesterday. The consensus was: He's HUGE. His weight and height both made gains in terms of percentiles. I'd noticed over the last week, his body proportions have changed. He's not a baby anymore, he's a little boy. Long legged (*there's* a surprise ;)), sturdy little boy. Very active, coordination is stellar. Verbal skills are in line with his age, which was a comfort to me. Eating skills, well, they're still not in line, but he's getting better. I did have an illustration of the concept of 'Conflicted'. That would be, when you watch your feeding-skill-delayed child demonstrating proper rotary chewing (a big milestone), and have to decide "Do I praise him for chewing, or do I harass him for eating crayons?"

*cracks up* You set up the ending beautifully. Actually made me snort. *s*

Woo hoo for the Well-Baby Checkup! You *know* your boy is fine, but it's nice to get confirmation. Heh.

*LOL*

Worry when he graduates from soft-food (crayons) to hard-food (chalk). :D

BTDT. He doesn't like chalk much.

Yay for your little boy!

I love your posts about Connor, both because I really like that little guy, and because it reminds of the adventures I still have ahead of me.
