It's become a tradition for me, that every year I commute on the bike, I get myself something that makes the winter commute more comfortable. this apexed in '99, when I got myself a new bike, but I still get myself something that'll make my commute more comfortable each year. The 'Stich, the electric gear, etc.

Very cool! I have a neoprene half-face ski mask like that that I would wear when it got chilly, and it helped tremendously, but it didn't actually seal against the helmet. Brilliant.

Yeah, I've heard *very* good things about these.

I think the deciding factor for me was hearing a friend, who lives a few miles from me, mention one (foggy and cold) morning "I didn't crack my visor when I was gassing up. No fogging."

Damn. Yeah, that's a good recommendation. Standing still, you normally get instafog.
