Just for the record
Jan. 6th, 2005 11:25 amI don't like riding in the snow.
The ride in to work was fun (NOT!). I was a few miles from work, at the top of the looooong, wiiiiinnnnddy hill (which my office is at the bottom of), when the snow started sticking. Blech. By the time I was a few blocks from work, I was putting along at about walking speed, and had my feet out as outriggers.
Fortunately, the stuff is melting off the streets, so I can get my bike home tonight. I think I'll be checking the weather before I leave for work tomorrow.
And I'll be optimising my VPN connection tonight, so I can work from home easily if I have to.

Date: 2005-01-07 01:36 am (UTC)Pavement hurts, and it's much harder to keep a single-track vehicle upright when the tires start sliding.
But I'm actually hoping lots it'll snow this weekend.
Snow lots, starting when I'm AT HOME.
