Posting from the hospital

Bug has some unidentified 'gastro-intestinal issue'.
Any other child, this would recieve Doctor's instructions to keep him home, push fluids, and follow teh R.I.C.E diet.
Because of his medical condition, tummy bugs cause him to be hospitalized, cause he needs to be rehydrated intraveinously (sp?). And I'm not qualified to do that at home. Yet.

But, right now he's doing much better. He'll stay probably overnight, maybe one mroe night after that, depends on how he responds tomorrow.
Thanks for all your concern, it means a lot to me.

Oh geez. I'm terribly sorry, G. ThePuppy was born nearly 5 weeks early, so he had to spend a week in NICU--I decided then that it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do--go home without my baby... Will you have to go to work, or can you stay w/ him?

(Tell me to shut up at will--I just wish I could do something, but I *will* pray...)

I can stay with him, but after yesterday at teh ER, and today in the med wing, Monday I *have* to go to work. My Lead's head is about to explode, and I feel guilty leaving him on his own when I know how psycho work is right now.

That last sentence is remarkably illustrative of Why Gwywnnydd's Life is So Bloody Stressful ;). I hold myself to a remarkably (many, especially those who have to live with the aftermath, would say unattainably) high standard.

I wish there were something we could do- hell, I wish I had a magic wand to wave all the bad away. Lacking that, we'll keep praying and thinking good thoughts.
