What do people have to know to "get" you?
Oct. 8th, 2004 02:15 pmI've been thinking lately, and I think I've managed to get it coalesced down to a useable question.
What books, movies, and music would someone have to familiarize themselves with to "get" you? What combination of entertainment will give them insight into your head/heart?
Just off teh top of my head:
Movies: Real Genius, Yellowbeard, Pride and Prejudice (A&E's miniseries), Braveheart
Books: Honor Harrington series, David Eddings' Belgariad and Mallorean, Terry Pratchett, Catherine LeVendeur series
Music: Heather Alexander, Rammstein, They Might Be Giants, Tom Lehrer, Dead Kennedys
