Well, that is certainly interesting. But question - do you remember school being like that? I remember dance and "movement" classes - but not other things that they mention :)
I remember that there wasn't much standardized testing. Nor much homework. In fact, the only sit-down tests I remember were the CATs. And I remember Janice (4th grade) doing a lot of hands-on demonstrations of stuff she was trying to teach.
Of course, *none* of our teachers are still there (even Marletta retired).
I suppose, while I can't point at a specific instance, I can see the beginnings of the described approach in how we were taught.
