gwywnnydd1. (The obligatory parent question :) What do you wish most for Bug?
That he grow up to be a good man. I've got a whole lot of unspoken expectations wrapped up in that. Taking responsibility for your actions, taking the consequences for your actions, not causing unnecessary harm or pain, showing compassion for those deserving. There's more but it's unformed right now.
2. What would your dream job be?
As I told the last recruiter who asked me that, 75k to stay home and pet the cat :). But I suppose, something that would allow me to do problem solving, something that allows me to fuck off for a weekend if I want to, something that helps people.
3. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Launching a middle-schooler :). Hopefully, living in a place I own.
4. What is the attraction of the Con scene? What makes you keep going back?
The Con scene is a place you can let loose the aspects of your personality you aren't brave enough to live everyday. In a way, it's a safe zone. That, and it's a chance to see folks I don't normally see.
5. What makes a good friend?
Willing to accept that you're going to be dumb sometimes, but not willing to let you escape the consequences. Willing to smack you upside the head and say "You're screwing up." Someone who sees your good points, and makes sure you do too, but doesn't let themselves be blinded to your flaws.
