Bug update
Aug. 4th, 2004 05:49 pmGood news on the Bug front.
His weight gain over the past couple of months has been phenomenal (sp?). Turns out we've been feeding him too much (I shouldn't try to do math in my head, I mis-calculated what 600 and 800 add up to . . .). We got the OK to scale back how much formula he's getting, in the hopes that he'll start to develop an appetite. So far, it seems to be working.
The clinic staff were amazed at how big he's gotten, and how well he's walking. Woohoo, validation! :).
The only downside perceived in my household is his Daddy's opinion about dried plums. Bug thinks dried plums rock. But, they're too much to handle at one go. So he'll nibble on one for a bit, then get distracted by something else, drop it, and come back to it when his perambulations bring him across it again. J. is getting tired of stepping on them :). I think Daddy may just have to learn to deal.
