Ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that could be obvious, but you have no idea about.

(optional)
Then post this in your own LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

Besides the Ann Rice World Tour, what city/cities would you most like to visit in your lifetime and why?

Well, the Anne Rice World Tour covers most of the cities I have a strong desire to see.
I think I'd like to visit Istanbul, to get a glimpse of the Middle East. Maybe Budapest or Prague, to see some of the ancient Eastern european cities.
And Germany. I haven't narrowed down where in Germany, though.

More on what you have been up to since last we were actually friends.

Um - considering that was when we were, what, 11, that might be a bit :)

The short version:
After Orca, went to South Shore middle, West Seattle, NOVA and Garfield high, Seattle Central, then UW. Got an English degree, which allows me to be grammatical when I ask if you would like fries.
Fell into software testing, discovered I have a gift for tracking down the problem, and recieve an unholy amount of pleasure in telling the devs they did their job wrong.
Along the way I discovered the SCA, and SciFi Conventions. Most of my social circles now can be directly traced to those two venues.
Now, I ride my motorcycle, and get to be Mama to my little boy, and try to find time to go to events, and cons, and keep in touch with my array of friends. The internet is a wonderful thing, and is the only thing that allows me to even pretend to stay in contact with everyone.

The long version should probably be taken to email :).

Probably, yeah. We should do that. You are the only person from our old group that I have been able to find. Ah, the Internet - what a remarkable tool.

It is too bad that it is also full of them (tools, that is)

This may be easy...

I got my first ride when I was 8. By the time I was home, I had decided I was gonna ride one of those myself one day!
I actually got into it when a former SO pushed me to put my money where my mouth was :). That would have been in '96.
