OK, Am I the only one who has been unable to get any msn.com domains to resolve for the last couple of days? No Slate, no MSN, no hotmail. Is this something I can bitch at my ISP for, or is this the endtimes?
actuallly its been pretty good lately. For some silly reason my work uses hotmail as their email address and then I have a personal hotmail account I use for the Steps. I haven't noticed any problems with it this week at all. Weird, huh?
No kidding...*laughs* I was just talking to [Unknown site tag] about that--funny how the "Hmm...I might really like to have *that*" turns into, "Wow, a few extra dollars in my pocket? I could buy ThePuppy, (or in your case, Bug)a set of diapers, or a new pair of shoes, etc." ...and I don't think I've ever caught myself feeling bitter or gypped over it. Not noble, just the way it works, I guess.
'just the way it works' when everything is going *right*. I'm sure we could both think of too many "mothers" who *do* feel gypped or bitter about having to sacrifice for thier child. But then, I'm a childed supporter of the Childfree. I support responsible parenting, and grit my teeth at childish breeders.
Besides, I've always figured that I got paid back in full whenever my boy would see me come home, and his face would split in a HUGE grin and he'd come scurrying over to me as fast as he could crawl. That would just make my day :).
*nods* You're right--I worked w/ a gal that was a riot to be around, but turned into a horrible, horrible person whenever her 4 yr old wanted her attention. Gah.
Sounds like you've got a good thing going. *grins* Mine'll come running pel-mel (??!?), nearly dropping himself twice on the slick floors before launching into my arms. It really is wonderful. ...and as it gets closer to bed time, he'll either get wild, or want to burrow into our laps & snuggle. Ahhhh....
