gwywnnyddBug's first camping event went well. He had lots of folks cooing over him, and learned important lessons like: What goldfish crackers are, if you push your face up next to the fence you get puppy kisses, if you lean on the corral gate it'll slide across the plastic mat, and making funny faces at people will get them to make funny faces back.
The weather wasn't as bad as I had feared (some years it's so freaking hot that I just melt). I did get too tired and cranky on Sunday, which was embarrassing. I had a blast listening to the drums on Saturday night. The handfasting was lovely, and timely (not surprising, considering the officiants ;)). Didn't get much chance to leave my camp (I missed much time I could have spent talking with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
treebyleaf, which makes me sad). Missed the Insh'Allah meeting (I'm starting to realize that maintaining membership in three households just isn't going to work when they *all* have somehting important going on at the same time).
Bug is still a mouth hurty little bug. Add to this the indignity of an infected ingrown toenail, and it's a miracle he's in as good a mood as he is.

I am really glad that you camped with us.
