Much better now, thank you
Jun. 1st, 2004 12:32 pmI had the TOTAL kick back, do fuck-all weekend. J. and E. were at Egils, R. ran off to friends house, left just me and the Bug. So, I gave myself permission to get nothing done but take care of the baby, and I feel much better for it. Of course, I *did get all teh baby's furniture moved into our room so R and E can have the other room (which gives them privacy and gives me my living room back). Was somewhat bent that R promised to help me move the furniture, then forgot and bailed before I got home friday. But I got it done, and got over being angry.
Saturday I went to help get
j5nn5r's place ready for his dad to move in. Wasn't able to do much work myself, but was able to keep an eye on the kids, so the other mommies could work :). Sunday, lunch at my dad's.
Bug got totally spoiled with Mama time, and was quite upset this morning when I left. Life lessons kiddo, sometimes you have to wait for something you want.
Tonight, tomorrow, and Thursday I spend making Bug garb. And in there we MUST decide how we are getting to June fair. First, I suppose, we must confirm who is going (there was muttering that R and E might not make it).
Then we get to figure out how to get us, and our stuff, to the other side of the water.
This is all complicated by J.'s having to pick up a friend from the airport Sunday, so anything that involves the trailer would also involve J trying to navigate SeaTac with a trailer (BAD NEWS).
Maybe I can make him leave the back seat in the jeep, and he can take the Saturn to pick up Adrian.
Otherwise, I'm thinking we have to ask R and E to drive themselves.
