Leg muscles. Definately there today. Possibly due to lack of potassium. Working with that hypothesis, I walked over to the grocery store for a banananana and an orange. Additions to the lunch I brought.
Now, I'm going to surf the web in peace, since everyone else is at lunch :).

Have a great lunch!

I have to take potassium everyday, since my NDI meds strip it out of my body. I keep forgetting that reh supplement I take counteracts the meds, but doesn't add enough to counteract any exercise I do. But I'm good at identifying potassium deficiency (it's very distinctive, and somehting I deal with alot).

When my potassium gets too low I get cramps in my legs.
It's always hard because I have grown to hate raw bananas. Much prefer Apricots...

Apricots are dangerous, since I VASTLY prefer dried apricots over just about any other fruit. I'll happily chew away for hours. Then I remember what that many dried apricots do to my digestion, and I curse myself for allowing myself to forget :). Then I spend a lot of time apologizing to Mt. J. for the state of the bathroom :).

What do they do? I have almost nothing that causes me to spend any time in the bathroom. I can eat a bucket of raw cherries and not spend a second in the temple of the porcelain Goddess.
It's a curse really...
But if it does something else that is nasty maybe I should know?!

They act as a laxative. A very effective one.

Unfortunately not for me. :(
I often wish things would. One of those little curse/blessing things.
That is probably more information than you really need to know. LOL.

Bug's nutritionist suggests pear juice. Something about the sugars encourages movement.

Honestly. It doesn't work either. I have tried.
The problem fluxuates with my back. Nerve damage from the accident. The list of organic and regular laxatives go on and on... Something I am going to see the Dr. about soon as it's been a problem since 1989 (time of accident). They have a name for it now.. Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Although my reasons for it may be unrelated perhaps the treatment might work. We will see.
Like I said... TMI. ;)

Ah, that *does* change things, doesn't it.
In that case, I hope the treatments help!

Me too. It has affected my ability to lose weight somewhat. My weight can fluxuate up to 8 lbs sometimes. Being stressed and sedentary doesn't help either.
The excercise and going back to the chiropractor should really help. :)
Thanks for being interested in helping. It's one of those invisible frustrations from my back things. It gets old for me so I can imagine it gets very boring for those around me. Don't talk about this stuff much. Guess it's one of those things that comes out with having the live journal.
