It's not a very clear picture, but it was cropped from a much larger group picture, taken on the first Harleys At Microsoft (HAM) ride. I was the only rider not on a Harley, but Thumper said I was welcome anyway, HD ownership wasn't a pre-requisite :).
I wore my leathers, rather than my 'Stich. I figured that, while they might be willing to accept me on a red Honda, they'd probably have a harder time accepting me in a bright blue Aerostich on a Honda. My chaps had been purchased, umm, 20 pounds before. they fit, but only just barely. there was no room for additional layers underneath.
It was March. It was cold. We were outside all freaking day. Then I rode to Tacoma for a friends party.
That was my most recent experience with hypothermia. Kindly Nurse Havoc noted that I was hypothermic, and ordered me to strip down and jump in the hot tub. CB3 brought me food and drink until I thawed out.
the only downside was, I got tired after warming up, and had to head for home.
