What will happen to the Miss Universe pageant if/when we contact intelligent life on other planets? Will the winners still be disproportionately human? Or will they have to institute judging policies similar to dog shows, where Best of Show is judged to be the best representative of the specific breed?

I think it's going to have to be Best of Show. I mean, how do you compare a meat-based intelligent species (human) with, say, a species whose base components are light waves instead of polypeptides? ;>

Tht's pretty much what I was thinking. I mean, if the judges are (mostly) humans, then the judging will be biased, and if it's an even mixture, then *no-one* will win :).
