Overall, I had a good weekend.
Aside from the meltdown, that is :).
Friday I ended up staying home, and couldn't even work through the VPN. This is probably because the power went out at some point Thursday, and my workstation didn't get powered back on. So, I've got a day to make up before the 15th (or so).
But on the upside, I got to spend the whole day playing with the Bug, so that was all good :).
Saturday, I had to miss the motorcycle show, cause I just couldn't put together the money for a ticket. But I did get to go (although briefly) to the WetLeather dinner afterwards. Only got to stay about an hour and a half, cause it was all too much for the Bug, but I did get a chance to see some folks, and show off my sprout to some of the out-of-towners :). Oh, and Joe gave Bug the Coolest, softest teddy bear. perfectly age appropriate as well, with stitching for detail (as opposed to sewn on beads, which become choking hazards).
Sunday, was not so good. Ended up having a meltdown in the morning, trying to figure out how to get clothes cleaned and the Bug cared for simultaneously. I am so blessed to have

lawst in my life, she took the baby for a few hours while I ran to a laundromat.
Then, home to snuggle on the couch and watch "Best in Show". Hadn't seen it before, was quite enjoyable. Although, I do have to wonder if Parker Posey is really that good of an actress, or is she even acting? I've seen her do freaky-neurotic *really* well, in the only roles I've seen her in. Might not be an act :).
And the Bug slept for EIGHT HOURS STRAIGHT last night. I have no idea what effect that'll have on his nap schedule today, but I desperately needed the sleep, so I'm not complaining.
Today, leave work early to take the boy to Children's, for his check-up. Hopefully, he's put on weight. I know he's put on at least 2 pounds in the past 6 weeks, I'm hoping it'll be even more than that :).
