Dec. 1st, 2003 02:09 pmTurkey day went well. I managed to pull off dinner for twelve with only a short (less than 30 minutes) panic session. Dinner went swimmingly, and I've heard nothing but good things about it since :).
Friday, I did not much. Enjoyed the hell out of it, too :).
Saturday, got the pics of the bug scanned and posted to the web. All reports I've gotten back agree with my assessment that my son is *really* cute :).
Sunday, went to see Matrix:Revolutions with jay and elena. Jay was the only one who hadn't seen it before. He was disappointed. Next on the list: Master and Commander.
Oh, and I got rid of the Honda, FINALLY. It drove away yesterday. Will not be coming back, either.

Date: 2003-12-01 02:20 pm (UTC)I finally saw Love Actually. I somehow didn't parse it correctly that this movie had all of the glorious people you were naming off Sunday-before-last. Wow. I laughed my ass off, and I freaking weeped. I think I'm either going to go back incessantly or wait for it to come out on video. I haven't decided yet. The weepy in public thing always messes with my bad-ass untouchable self-image, hmph! ;)

Date: 2003-12-01 02:38 pm (UTC)I think the video vs. theater question is easily answered by your pocketbook :). Personally, I can no longer scrape together enough to see a movie multiple times in the theater :). So, once in the theater, and then buy it when it's released on home-viewing media. Although, I have found it ends up being the same cost for me to buy a video as to rent it, since I never get it back in time to avoid late fees :).
Lawst discovered a good way to deal with the weeping-in-public thing, wear contacts. When we went to see Les Miserables, she teared up just enought o keep her contacts nicely moistened :).
