Well, I *did* just finish one of his finest (well, one of my favorite) works. It kinda rubs off :). I suppose it helps that his style of humor I grew up with. Learned through osmosis, as it were :).
Night Watch is definitely in my top 3. Once I've reread the whole series at some point, I think there's a good chance it's actually my favourite or tied for it.
I'm really liking where he's been going with Vimes. I've even managed to convince jay to read Guards Guards. Now, we just have to find time for him to read :).
I have a perma-crush on Carrot. I'm not the marrying type, but I think I'd marry Carrot. The Night Watch books are always my favourite. I'm hit and miss on the witch books, same with the University books. I love the Death ones. I was going to be Death of Rats for Halloween this year, but never got around to getting the proper props (including a piece of cheese that would, of course, fall out of the bottom of my robe ;> ) So instead I was just Dead.
