Nov. 6th, 2003 04:17 pmI still think Verizon employs monkeys who smoke really bad crack.
Ironically, I know some folks who work for Verizon, but AFAIK they don't work in teh departments that hinder my full enjoyment of their service.
Couple of days ago Verizon decided that Micapeak.com was a spammer's site. Umm, no, it hosts about 450 mailing lists, all (vaguely) motorcycle related. Yes, I've been getting 150-300 new messages a day from that domain, its a fucking mailing list! It's a HIGH VOLUME mailing list. And I went into withdrawals when my ISP cut me off from it.
But I'm better now. The monkeys put down the crack pipe long enough to fix whatever the problem was.
Tomorrow is a "No work gets done" day at the office. First thing in the morning, we move offices. This is likely to take several hours. Then, we go see Revolutions, then we go to lunch (on the comapny's dime), then we go for drinks (again on the company's dime). This seems to be a "Thank you for not quitting" gesture. Works for me :).

Hope it helps,
